Keep this on the quiet, but I really like this song. I like it even more when it’s being covered by Low, because I’m a proper hipster like that and Low doing a Rihanna cover is awesome. I want to hear them do her entire back catalogue.
Mimi’s voice is so powerful in this, and Alan’s verse is a complete surprise, he’s a lot more nasal and reedy than he usually is.
Anyway great song, great cover. Sounds quite a bit like Miike Snow’s ‘Animal’ don’t you think?
